Eastern High School will hold its annual CCP Informational Meeting on January 14th at 6pm in the High School Cafeteria. Attached is a link to the written notice. Representatives from Rio, OU, and Washington State will be present. Senior Spotlight
John Parker is a senior wrestler. He has been wrestling for 2 years and has earned 1 varsity letters he is also a member of the football team in the fall. John says his greatest memory is getting his first win.

Senior Spotlight
Xandra Cox is a senior cheerleader. She has been cheering for 4 years and has earned 3 varsity letters. She also cheers in the fall for football. Xandra says her greatest memory is making new friendships and the bus rides to and from games.

Jarod Bates, Apprenticeship Training Director from IBEW 972 of Marietta Ohio presented to Eastern seniors about local opportunities working as a union electrician and also provided all students with contact information and apprenticeship application deadline information. Several seniors began the application process already. Good things are happening at Eastern High School and it is never too late to find your "E." Thank you Mr. Bates for speaking to our students about this opportunity!


Due to a road closure at State Route 681 and Hudson Rd., Eastern buses 23 and 25 may be unable to run Hudson Road and parts of 681. Alternative pick up points will be the intersection of Hudson and Little Forest as well as the intersection of number nine and 681.

Senior Spotlight
Brady Rockhold is a senior basketball player. He has been playing basketball for 4 years and has earned 4 varsity letters. Brady is also a member of the baseball and football team. Brady says his favorite memory is scoring 107 points in the first game of this year against River Valley.


JV and Varsity boys beat Federal Hocking tonight. JV 46-35. Varsity 68-53. Great showing from both boys teams, cheerleaders, student section, and fans.

The Meigs County Schools Food Pantry monthly distribution is this Thursday, December 19, from 4:00pm-6:00pm. Some special holiday offerings will be included. Any Meigs County family with school-aged children is welcome to drive through
BEGINNING AT 4:00.
