Senior Spotlight Kaylee Hollon is a senior cheerleader. She has been cheering for 4 years, has earned 3 varsity letters, and has been a captain the last 2 years. Kaylee says her favorite memories are on the bus rides to and from away games. Kaylee plans to continue her cheerleading career in at the University of Rio Grande.

There will be a blood drive on Wednesday in the high school gym from 8 to 1:30 with the American Red Cross sponsored by the Student Council. All donors will receive a $15 gift card via email from the Red Cross and free ice cream from the Student Council. Again, there will be a blood drive on Wednesday from 8 to 1:30. All in-house students grades 11-12 will be attending a Heavy Equipment and Machinery Career Expo in Circleville on 12/12 from 10-12:30pm. This is part of our career readiness exposure curriculum and our school mission and vision to support our Eagles finding their E. The bus will depart after attendance is taken that morning. a signed wavier is required for this trip and must be turned in by the end of the school day on 12/11. Extra copies are available in the high school office. On 12/16, a representative from the Educational Opportunity Center will be at the high school to speak with all seniors about college pathway support. All seniors are recommended to attend this meeting as much of this information is vital for college bound students of the class of 2025. On 12/18, Jarid Bates, the training director for IBEW Local 927 will be be at Eastern High School to speak to seniors about the apprenticeship program at 11am in the High School Cafeteria. This is an excellent opportunity for any senior wishing to pursue a local in demand career to earn a living wage with medical and retirement benefits. Thank you, Eastern Junior-Senior High School

On Monday November 25th, ELSD in partnership with Ohio Valley Bank honored our Senior Students of the Quarter. The honorees were Danielle Epple, Kayla Sellers, and Addison Well. Once each quarter we honor three of our top senior students by inviting the students and their parents to a catered luncheon supplied by Chef Austin Cole. Representatives from OVB, Tony Staley & Jason Booher, spoke to the students and congratulated them for their accomplishments. Each student was given a gift bag and a certificate commemorating their achievement. Pictured are Tony Staley and Jason Booher from OVB as well as honorees Danielle, Kayla, and Addison.
