Congrats to the high school wrestling team as they placed 5th out of 15 teams. Kyler Basham 120lb Champion, Gradey Murphy Heavyweight runner up, Robert Williams 4th, and DeKyle Small 5th. Shoutout to MJ Hensley for getting 4th at the Jr High meet. It’s a great day to be an Eagle.

The Eastern Local Drama club put on a wonderful production of A Dickens Christmas Carol for our community and students this week. Students were able to perform for the community this past Wednesday evening, and again for the elementary and high school yesterday and today. We would like to give a special thank you to Mrs. Stoltzfus and the students for their hard work and dedication, along with AEP for sponsorship of the new program!

The Meigs County Food Pantry will handing out food tomorrow from 4:00-6:00 or until supplies run out at the Meigs administrative office. You may not pick up for more than 2 families. See the attached map and check them out on facebook.

Tonight's JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games vs. Federal Hocking are postponed to Tuesday 1/13.
The Eagle Packs and Christmas meals that were scheduled to go home or be picked up today will instead be sent home or available for pickup on the next day Eastern is in session.
Eastern Local will be closed Monday December 15th.
We will also start Christmas break a little early and operate on a 2 hour early release schedule on Friday December 19th.

Congratulations to Kyler Basham for being the 120 pound champion at the Warren Invitational. Kyler is now 8-0 and currently ranked 8th in the state in Division 3.
