The game is on Friday, and the school carnival is on Saturday. So we would love to see you all at the new time of Sunday, November 5th, at 3 pm.

We will also go over the schedule for practices and tournaments. If you need anything in the meantime. Please get ahold of us and we will be happy to help best I can.

Eastern Local bus number 24 driven by Joe Barnhart will begin running the Smith Ridge area again tomorrow morning . Students in Long Bottom, Bigley Ridge, and Mt Olive areas should expect to board the bus approximately 10 to 15 minutes early beginning tomorrow morning.
We are so proud of our Eastern Students, Addi Well and Danielle Epple, for being the only keynote student speakers at the Ohio High School Athletic Association Leadership Conference this Tuesday at Athens High School. They spoke to over 130 high school students about their participation in the AHA! Mental Health Summit from spring of 2023 and how they have developed their leadership skills and public speaking confidence. We were able to take roughly 20 of our finest student-athletes to hear from several high level and motivational speakers about the importance of leadership in sport and life. I'm extremely proud of our Eagles for representing our school and community with pride.
Go Eagles!

Eastern students learned about leadership, advocacy, and research in their first session at The Ohio State University Student Leadership Research Collaborative. This year our year two students will be working with the Ohio School Boards Association while our year one students work to tackle another problem-solution complex to better our school and community.
Our kids are really working to take ownership of their school by developing a strong leadership voice.
Today they learned six things about leadership:
Leadership is imagination
You must be authentic
Strength is key
Learn to teach
Value the people you're around
Leadership is appreciation
Our year two students met Dr. Kathy McFarland, the CEO and executive director of the Ohio School Board Association while our year two students learned about the YPAR process and problem solving.
It's a great day to be an Eagle.
Congratulations to our Lady Eagles Junior High Volleyball Teams! Both the 7th and 8th grade went undefeated all season long and each won the Championship in the annual Junior High Volleyball Tournament. Their hard work and dedication doesn't go unnoticed. Great job, ladies! You should be so proud; We certainly are proud of you. Eagle volleyball has a bright future.
