Mrs. Hopkins 4th grade class just finished learning about the American Revolution. Mr. Barnhart our School Resource Officer spoke about life in the “the Virginia Backcountry” and the significance of our area during the war. More specifically of the Battle of Point Pleasant, and the vital role the militia and Continental Army played in winning the war.
