Coach Jason Jackson was hired as the 27th head football coach of Eastern High school on March 17th. Coach Jackson has been in education and coaching for 27 years. He attended Fairmont State College and graduated with a degree in technology education. He was a 2-year letterman for the Falcons at both offensive and defensive line.
Jason has taught industrial technology at Meigs High for 23 years and coached football at Fairmont State, Orange County NC, and Ravenswood high school. He is married to Amy Jackson. He is the proud father of Mariah 24 and Luke 21 and proud stepfather of Justin Young 28 and Chris Young 22.
During the first couple weeks of his tenure, he has generated excitement with the players as there have been 44 players commit to playing football for the Eagles in 2022. There have been 26 athletes taking advantage of workouts and the young men have shown some great progress thus far.
