The Eastern High School Music Program hosted heir annual spring concert with performances by the Advanced Choir class and the Marching/Concert Band class.

The Advanced Choir class sang “Homeward Bound,” “Can’t Catch Me Now,” and “Yellow.”
The Marching/Concert Band classes performed “Valdres,” “Black Forest Overture,” and “Shenandoah Triptych.”
Both groups of students sounded amazing and received overwhelming ovations from a full gymnasium.
These students have worked hard all year to perform their best. Junior High student, Alana Buckley earned District 17 Middle School Honor Band.
Zoey Cranston earned District 17 High School Honor Band and Southeast Ohio Youth Wind Ensemble.
Mason Baker, Olivia Householder, and Lilly White earned Ohio University Honor Band.
Zoey Cranston and Lilly White earned District 17 Solo and Ensemble Superior Ratings.
The work that Mr. Frey has done with this amazing group of students is evident.
Our band will be performing at the Ohio Music Education Association Large Group Competition for the first time in nearly a decade. We are confident they will make us proud!
Go Eagles!
