The Eastern Local Eagle Pack Program which includes volunteers packaging several easy to prepare meals for students in need to take home was hard at it recently. This group does and outstanding job and they help so many students. We are incredibly lucky to have such great people in community willing to help others.
Jessica Anderson a teacher at Eastern Elementary and one of the major organizers of the Eagle Pack Program wanted to thank the following people.
Thank you to a few of my students for helping me set up the assembly line. Much thanks to Carly Kelley for choosing to open items while her students were in P. E. This allowed us to begin packing sooner!
I appreciate Jr. High cheerleaders for taking time to help pack Eagle Packs prior to their practice. Thank you to Mrs. Caldwell & her children for helping on their way home from school. Thanks to Lisa Ritchie, her sister, & Terri Soulsby for stopping by to lend a hand at packing, cleaning up, & taking recycling too. And thank you to Emma & Elliott Roberts for their loyalty in helping with a variety of tasks including keeping the assembly line running smoothly & helping distribute Eagle Packs.
