Eastern High School Students travelled to Columbus, Ohio to present as part of their culminating Ohio State University Student Leadership Research Collaborative.
Throughout the yearlong collaborative, students learned about leadership as well as advocacy through action research. Students worked in teams to select a problem in our school, created a research question, collected data through qualitative and quantitative research, analyzed data, and recommended a solution to the building principal. Throughout the process, students listened to high level speakers such as Clark Kellogg and travelled across Ohio to work with a diverse array of schools and students.
Our year one students did a great job of presenting their research project to a full room of students and stakeholders. Their performance was stellar. They represented our school and community with pride.
Our year two students were the first to stand up and offer their help to Dr. Keith Bell.
Our Eagles are leaders. We are proud of them!
