The Eastern FFA has been busy this past month! Students were given the
opportunity to attend the county soil judging contest on September 13th. Along with the
Farm Science review near Columbus on Sep 19th, where students were allowed to walk
around the expo and explore all booths and activities. The next day, Sep 20th another
group of students went to attend the district soil judging contest where they tried their
hardest. Lastly on the 21st a select group went to South Gallia High School and took
part in the Barnyard Olympics. Chapter President Laikyn Davis placed 1st in the farmer
carry, and 2nd in the hay bale toss.
