Two of our third-grade classes had the exciting opportunity to learn from one of Eastern’s own, Jessica Coleman Honeycutt. A 2017 graduate Eastern graduate, Mrs. Honeycutt has since pursued a career in teaching in Marietta and authored the book, “Science for Cool Kids.”
Jessica shared some of her Cool Science with our third graders, who explored the fascinating world of planets! She also discussed the process of writing and publishing her own book, giving the students a glimpse into what it takes to become an author.
